A Little about our founder

Once upon a quiet afternoon, in a cozy corner of home, a curious little girl dipped her fingers into colour and turned simple paper into magic.

She smiled, the kind of smile that warms the whole room and her tiny laughter danced like sunshine on the walls. 🌈

Her name isn’t written here, but in my heart, she is called “Nyota Yangu”, my star.

Hi, I’m Miriam, and that bright-eyed little artist is my niece.

The heartbeat, the spark, the very beginning of everything you’ll find here.

As she coloured, created, imagined, and explored, I saw something beautiful, a reminder that childhood is not loud and rushed, but soft, curious, and full of quiet wonder.

So, I dreamed up a little world built just for them;

for children who see stars in crayons,
for parents who treasure tiny moments,
and for homes that believe magic can live on the walls.

Here at Nyota Yangu, we create art and coloring pages that whisper instead of shout,

gentle tones, warm hearts, playful imagination, and stories tucked between every brushstroke.

Every piece is a love letter to childhood:

to giggles, to calm afternoons, to shared creativity, to the pause that becomes a memory.

May our artwork bring light to your walls, may our colouring pages become laughter filled pauses,
and may your home be sprinkled with
“Look mama! Look what I made!” moments.

Thank you for stepping into this little storybook with us.

you are now part of the tale and every star in it matters. ⭐

With soft magic and warm wishes,
Miriam Githui
Creator, dreamer, and auntie to the brightest little star
